1 WEST VIRGINIA / OHIO: Welcome aboard as we travel north to Michigan for our exciting Tour of this Great State. We travel into Ohio, where we spend the night in the Toledo area.

2 HENRY FORD MUSEUM / GREENFIELD VILLAGE / DETROIT CITY TOUR: Today we visit one of the State's Top Attractions - Henry Ford Museum/Greenfield Village - to explore its many exhibits covering over 300 years of American History. We will also see Detroit through the eyes of a Local Guide on our City Tour. We spend the night in the Detroit area.

3 FRANKENMUTH / BONNER'S CHRISTMAS WONDERLAND / MACKINAW CITY: This morning on our way to Mackinaw City we visit the World's Largest Christmas Store - Bonner's Christmas Wonderland. Walk through over 1 1/2 Acres, including over 250 decorated trees and more than 50,000 Ornaments. We have lunch and time for looking around in what is called "Michigan's Little Bavaria" - Frankenmuth. We spend the night in Mackinaw City.

4 SOO LOCKS / MACKINAC ISLAND / GRAND HOTEL: Today we go into the Upper Peninsula to Sault Ste. Marie's Soo Locks for a Narrated Cruise through the World's Largest Waterway Traffic System. On our way to Sault Ste. Marie we Cross the Straits of Mackinac via the "Big Mac" Bridge which is over 5 miles long. We come back to St. Ignace where we Cruise over to Mackinac Island and board Horse Drawn Carriages for a ride to the Famous Grand Hotel for the afternoon and evening. Dinner is included this evening at the Hotel. We spend the night at The Grand Hotel on Mackinac Island.

5 MACKINAC ISLAND / GRAND HOTEL / GRAND RAPIDS: Today's breakfast is also included at the Grand Hotel! You will have the morning to enjoy the Hotel, or take another Carriage Ride into Town for some last minute Shopping. This afternoon we take the Carriage Taxi back to catch the Ferry. After getting back on our Motorcoach we head for Grand Rapids to spend the night.

 

6 GERALD FORD MUSEUM / DUTCH VILLAGE / HOLLAND: We visit the Gerald Ford Museum this morning, covering the life of our 38th President. Then it's on to the Famous Dutch Village in Holland with its Gardens and Windmills. We also visit the DeKlomp Wooden Shoe and Delft China Factory before making our way to Toledo, Ohio to spend the night.

7 HOLMES COUNTRY OHIO / AMISH COUNTRY / WALNUT CREEK OHIO: This morning we head into the heart of the World's Largest Amish Settlement in the Rolling Hills of Holmes County, Ohio. The Amish have maintained their simple way of life, rejecting many modern conveniences. A Local Guide gets on board our motorcoach to give us a Tour of the picturesque Amish countryside. We will also Tour an Amish Home and see a slide presentation on Amish life in this area. We spend the night in the middle of Amish Country at the Carlisle Inn in Walnut Creek, Ohio where you will enjoy shopping in the beautiful gift shops around the Inn. Tonight we taste some of the Amish food as we enjoy a Family Style Dinner.

8 HOMEWARD BOUND: Today our journey is complete as we make our way home through the Shenandoah Valley with many new friends and fond memories of our Great Adventure!
