1 SHENANDOAH VALLEY / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS

We leave today and make our way through the Shenandoah Valley and into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where we stay in Wytheville, Virginia.

2 Memphis

We depart this morning traveling through Virginia and into Tennessee making our way to Memphis for the night.

3 IRON DOG RANCH / WILL ROGERS / ECLIPSE

This evening we arrive in Claremore, OK where we will stop by the hotel to rest and refresh before heading to Will Roger’s Birthplace Ranch in Oologah, OK. This working longhorn ranch is a historical treat where we can explore the ranch house and grounds at leisure. This western evening not only includes a dinner, but a chance to hear and see Stories and Rope tricks originally performed by native Oklahoma Actor/Politician Will Rogers. With the sun setting and a Lunar Eclipse rising, we will see a stage show filled with singers and dancers performing a few tunes from the Broadway Classic “Oklahoma”.

4 PAWHUSKA / OSAGE NATION MUSEUM / OSAGE FEST

Today will be spending the day in Pawhuska, OK the Official Headquarters of the Osage Nation. Pawhuska is also the home of Ree Drummond “The Pioneer Woman.” During the day of sightseeing you will enjoy a lunch prepared from her recipes and have a chance to shop in the famous Mercantile. After lunch we will visit to the Osage Nation Museum devoted to history, art, and culture. In the museum we will find an extensive photo collection, historical artifacts, and traditional and contemporary art. This afternoon we will head to the Ben Johnson Cowboy Museum. Dedicated to the Oscar-winning actor this amazing collection features notable Osage Country cowboys, cowgirls, and western heritage. After we’ll attend a Native Woman Fashion Show where the models walk around the room as a narrator talks about the clothing and why they wear it. The evening’s main attraction begins with an Osage Storyteller who relates the tribal history. Followed by a traditional Osage Fest with authentic menu items while enjoying the rhythmic chanting and drums of a heritage music and dance presentation.

5 BARTLESVILLE / WOOLAROC MUSEUM / COUNTRY MUSIC DINNER

This morning we travel to Bartlesville, OK for a Tour of the historic town. We will witness a Gusher known as Nellie Johnstone #1 which blows water into the sky replicating oil. We will also discover Bartlesville’s Buffalo art, and more than 30 life size painted buffalo statues scattered around town. After we will head to the 3700 acre Woolaroc Museum and Wildlife Preserve. On the grounds of the museum, we will find one of the world’s greatest collections of western art, relics, and exhibits that tell the alluring story of the American West. Also, we will find an 1840’s mountain man camp, the Woolaroc Animal Barn, and a herd of Buffalo roaming across the prairie. This evening we celebrate modern Country Music as a local band entertains us after dinner with the music of Oklahoma native’s Toby Keith, Garth Brooks, and Reba McEntire.

6 MEMPHIS

Today we start heading home travelling back east stopping in Memphis, TN for the night.

7 HOMEWARD BOUND

As the sun climbs above the prairie so we start our journey home with wonderful memories of Oklahoma and the Eclipse of the Flower Moon.

8 VIRGINIA

Today we head home with all the wonderful memories of Oklahoma.
