Remember – A Tour to Alaska is an Adventure. A choice of Accommodations is very limited – especially in the more remote areas. However, you can be assured that you will have clean, comfortable, basic accommodations in these areas.

1 AIRPORT TRANSPORT: Our Fly Trips require us to be at the airport very early, therefore we will pick you up by Motorcoach and overnight near the airport.

2 FLIGHT / ANCHORAGE: This morning we board our flight heading for Anchorage, AK! We will arrive in Alaska’s Largest City this  afternoon where we will check into our hotel for the next three nights.

3 WHITTIER / 26 GLACIER CRUISE: We leave Anchorage this morning on our Motorcoach for Whittier. On arrival in Whittier we board the  No. 1 Glacier Cruise – the M / V “Klondike” for an unforgettable and leisurely 6 hour Cruise of 26 Glaciers. Lunch is included on  Board the “Klondike”. We see the most beautiful part of Prince William Sound. On this Tour we hope to see the world’s most breathtaking glaciers, playful whales, porpoise, seals, bald eagles and otters. The female sea otters swimming on their backs holding their babies on  their stomach is a sight you will remember forever! This has proven to be the most unforgettable day of the Tour. We spend another night  in Anchorage.

4 ANCHORAGE CITY TOUR: Today a Step on Guide will join us to show us the sights of the Area including Ship Creek Salmon Hatchery  where Pink, King and Coho salmon jump a spillway in the dam, Earthquake Park showing effects from the major 1964 earthquake, Port of Anchorage, Lake Hood – the busiest float plane airport in the world, University of Alaska, Anchorage and more. We will spend another night in Anchorage.

5 HEALY / DENALI NATIONAL PARK: We depart Anchorage this morning heading Northeast on our way to Denali National Park. Along the  way we will enjoy the beautiful scenery and abundant wildlife. We will spend the night in Healy , AK.

6 DENALI NATIONAL PARK / FAIRBANKS / SALMON BAKE: This morning we will visit Denali National Park. This Park is best known for its  wildlife of caribou, moose, wolves and grizzly bear as well as Denali – North America’s highest mountain at 20,320 feet. The Tanana Indian  name for the mountain is Denali, said to mean the “high one”. We will venture into the park for a closer look before Making our  way to Fairbanks, AK for the next two nights.

Tonight we visit Alaskaland, a theme park covering the history of Fairbanks, Alaska’s second largest city. While we are at Alaskaland we treat you to their famous Salmon Bake and show at the Palace Theater.

7 TOUR OF FAIRBANKS / RIVERBOAT DISCOVERY / MUSEUM & EXPERIMENTAL GARDENS: This morning we enjoy a relaxing river  Journey on board the Stern Wheeler Riverboat Discovery. Relax as you learn about past and present life along the river on a four hour  narrated Adventure. We go ashore at the site of an Athabascan Indian Village and walk with them through the Village as they share their  culture and traditions! This afternoon we visit the Museum and Experimental Gardens at the University of Alaska. Though the growing season lasts only four months, long daylight hours produce record size Vegetables. We spend another night in Fairbanks.

8 NORTH POLE / TOK: Today we travel the Alaska Highway stopping by the North Pole to see Santa Claus! We will also stop at the Delta Junction Visitor’s Center and follow the Tanana River. We get our first look at the Alaska Pipeline that we have heard so much about. We will spend the night in Tok, which is the Dog-Mushing Headquarters for all of Alaska!

9 ALASKA HIGHWAY / KLUANE LAKE / WHITEHORSE: This morning we continue to travel the Alaska Highway into Yukon Territory. We  will go by Haines Junction, Destruction Bay and Kluane Lake. We make our way to Whitehorse where we will visit the S.S. Klondike  Sternwheeler and also the MacBride Museum, which depicts the heritage of the Yukon. We will spend the night in Whitehorse.

10 KLONDIKE HIGHWAY / SKAGWAY: This morning travel the Klondike Highway to Skagway. We cross the White Pass Summit. Many  “Stampeders” on their way to the Klondike Goldfields in 1898 chose the White Pass Route. At that time the Northwest Mounted Police  were stationed at this Summit to meet every “Stampeder” entering Canada to ensure that each carried at least a year’s provisions. After  a very Scenic and Historic ride we arrive in Skagway. Here we will board the Alaska Marine Highway Ferry where we will cruise through  the beautiful inside passage. Cabins will be provided for your comfort. We spend the next two nights on the Ferry.

11 INSIDE PASSAGE OF ALASKA: A smooth, gliding ride of 500 miles – so don’t worry about getting seasick in the calm waters of The  Inside Passage. We are never out of sight of Land. This Trip is an ever changing panorama of cloud shrouded islands, jagged  mountains, spectacular fiords, glaciers passing along and abundant wildlife. Occasionally, small groups of whales can be seen, porpoise  riding the pressure wave off the bow of the ship and a variety of birds – including the Bald Eagle – soar gracefully overhead! We go by  the Alaska Towns of Ketchikan, Wrangell, Petersburg and the State Capital – Juneau. We ovenight on the ferry.

12 YELLOWHEAD HIGHWAY / PRINCE RUPERT, BRITISH COLUMBIA: We depart the ferry in Prince Rupert, British Columbia today, a  town made famous for its many Totem Poles. We travel the Yellowhead Highway following the Skeena River into Prince George, British  Columbia where we spend the night.

13 CARIBOO HIGHWAY / HELL’S GATE / QUESNELL: We continue our Journey today in the Luxury of Our Own Motorcoach, traveling on  the Very Scenic Cariboo Highway. We travel by the Town of Hope and enjoy the incredible Scenery along the Fraser and Thompson  Rivers through “Hell’s Gate”. We make many picture stops today as the Scenery is Breathtaking. We spend the night in Quesnel, British  Columbia.

14 ABBOTSFORD: Today we continue traveling through British Columbia passing through Cache Creek and Lytton before spending the  night in Abbottsford.

15 BRITISH COLUMBIA / SEATTLE: We continue our journey through British Columbia today making our way back to the United States.  We will enjoy some time in Seattle this afternoon before checking into our hotel for the night in the Seattle Area.

16 FLIGHT / HOMEWARD BOUND: Our Motorcoach will take us to the airport today to board our flight heading home with all the  wonderful memories of ALASKA!
