1 WEST VIRGINIA / KENTUCKY / INDIANA:

Today we begin our adventure to the Northwest. We leave the Appalachian Mountains behind and travel through the capital cities of Charleston, West Virginia, Frankfort, Kentucky, and Indianapolis, Indiana where we will spend the night.

2 ILLINOIS / WISCONSON:

Our day begins with a Fair Oaks Farms tour where we will learn about modern farming and how they make their own energy. We then make our way to Chicago, where we will take a cruise on the Chicago River through the lock and into Lake Michigan, learning the history of this magnificent city. We spend the night in Deforest Wisconsin.

3 MINNESOTA / SOUTH DAKOTA:

Today we travel across the southern end of the Land of 10,000 Lakes – Minnesota. After crossing the mighty Mississippi River, we will make a brief stop to see the Jolly Green Giant before arriving in Brandon, South Dakota for the night.

4 SOUTH DAKOTA:

Today we journey through rolling prairies to experience the Black Hills of South Dakota. We stop in Landstrom’s the official factory of the Black Hills Gold. Tonight, we enjoy a Cowboy Dinner and Show at Fort Hays, the actual set of Dances with Wolves. We spend the night in Rapid City, South Dakota.

5 NORTH DAKOTA:

We start our day by paying a visit to the Theodore Roosevelt National Park to get a close-up look of North Dakota’s Badlands. This evening we have dinner at the Pitchfork Fondue where you will experience this unique style of cooking. We attend the Medora Musical located at the Burning Hills Outdoor Amphitheatre. We spend the night in Medora, North Dakota.

6 MONTANA / WYOMING:

Today we drive through the Crow Reservation in Montana with a visit to Little Bighorn Battlefield National Monument. Later this evening we cross through the Bighorn National Forest, one of the oldest government protected forest lands in the United States. We spend the night in Cody, Wyoming.

7 YELLOWSTONE NATIONAL PARK / GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK:

Today we drive from Cody to the east entrance of Yellowstone National Park. While in the park today we will visit the Hayden Valley, Artist Point of the Yellowstone Falls and the Geyser Basin before heading through the Grand Teton National Park. This evening we ride a horse drawn covered wagon toBar T5 Chuck Wagon Dinner Show. We spend the night in Jackson, Wyoming.

8 GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK:

Today we head back through the Grand Tetons National Park into Yellowstone National Park. We ride along Yellowstone Lake and stop to view Old Faithful. We will spend the night in Livingston, Montana.

9 MONTANA / WASHINGTON:

Crossing the Western Continental Divide we enter the mining region where gold, silver, copper, lead and zinc have been extracted for many years. We stop in Butte, Montana at the World Museum of Mining and overnight in Coeur D’Alene, Idaho.

10 WASHINGTON:

We arrive today in the Pacific Northwest crossing the Columbia River in the Emerald City of Seattle. We enjoy some sightseeing in the city before spending the night in the Seattle Area.

11 MOUNT RAINER NATIONAL PARK:

Today we experience the Cascade Mountains front and center as we visit the 14,410-foot snowcapped Mount Rainer. We will spend another night in the Seattle area.

12 HOMEWARD BOUND:

Today we bid farewell to America’s Northwest as we make our way home flying over the Rockies.
