1 SHENANDOAH VALLEY / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS:

We leave today and make our way through the Shenandoah Valley and into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where we spend the night in Wytheville, Virginia.

2 BLUEGRASS HALL OF FAME / OWENSBORO:

Our journey begins this morning as we make our way through West Virginia before arriving in Winchester, KY where we will enjoy dinner at Halls on the River. After lunch we continue to Owensboro, Kentucky where we will check into our hotel for the night. Tonight, we will treat you to dinner and entertainment at the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame.

3 ST. LOUIS ARCH / COLUMBIA:

We continue west this morning making our way to St. Louis where we visit the St. Louis Arch – the Gateway to the West! Here we will take a ride to the top of the world-famous Arch for a bird’s eye view. Then we head toward Columbia, MO where we will check into our hotel for the night.

4 WARM SPRINGS RANCH / OMAHA:

We depart our hotel this morning heading to Boonville, MO where we visit Warm Springs Ranch – Home of the Budweiser Clydesdale Horses! Resting on 300-plus acres of rolling hills in the heart of Missouri, this state-of-theart establishment will take your breath away.

This property features a mare / stallion and foaling barn, veterinary lab, and 10 pastures. Warm springs Ranch is home to more than 70 Clydesdales ranging from foals to stallions. After our visit to Warm Springs Ranch, we make our way to Kansas City, MO where we treat you to lunch at Arthur Bryant’s home of the best BBQ in Kansas City. After lunch we visit the National World War I Museum before making our way to Omaha, Nebraska for the night.

5 BOYS TOWN / CORN PALACE:

After breakfast we make our way to Boys Town where we will enjoy a tour including the Museum, Dowd Chapel and Father Flanagan’s Tomb, house and garden of the bible. Afterwards we then make our way to Sioux Falls, SD where we enjoy lunch at Falls Overlook Café. After lunch we continue to the town of Mitchell where we visit the Corn Palace before checking into our hotel in Mitchell, SD for the night.

6 WALL DRUG / MOUNT RUSHMORE:

Our first stop this morning is Wall Drug store, one of America’s most well-known roadside stops! We then head to Mt. Rushmore National Memorial in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. Here we will be enamored by the 61-foot-high granite faces of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln. Also included today is dinner at Carver’s Café before enjoying the evening lighting ceremony at Mount Rushmore. We will overnight in Rapid City, SD for the next 2 nights.

7 CUSTER STATE PARK / BUFFALO ROUNDUP

Today is the day we have been waiting for – the Buffalo Roundup!! We depart our hotel early this morning and make our way to Custer State Park. Here we will watch the Cowboys and Cowgirls as they roundup and drive the heard of approximately 1,300 buffalo. While watching the roundup we will enjoy a Pancake Breakfast and Lunch at the Corrals once the buffalo are rounded up. Also on site will be over 100 vendors offering their fine arts and crafts for sale, including many South Dakota Made Products! We overnight again in Rapid City.

8 BUFFALO BILL HISTORICAL PARK / BUFFALO BILL RANCH:

After breakfast we depart our hotel, and head toward Fort Robinson State Park to see a working Arm Fort. Our next stop will be Carhenge. Here we will find a scale replica of England’s Stonehenge, but with cars! Then it’s on to Buffalo Bill Historic Park where we visit “Scouts Rest” the home of the famed showman scout William F. “Buffalo Bill” Cody. This park recaptures the life and career of the famed Pony Express rider, Army scout and buffalo hunter – turned showman. We may even run into Buffalo Bill and his wife Louisa! After our visit we continue to the Lincoln County Historical Museum where we enjoy a tour of their western prairie village with a complete working blacksmith shop! Also included is a Canteen Themed Dutch Oven Dinner. We will overnight in North Platte, Nebraska.

9 GREAT PLATTE ARCHWAY / BARTLESVILLE:

Today we stop at The Great Platte Archway. Opened in 2000, this museum spanning over interstate 80 in Nebraska houses a historical experience that tells the story of Nebraska and the Platte River Valley in the development of America. Tonight, we arrive in Bartlesville, Oklahoma where we will spend the next two nights.

10 PHILLIPS PETROLEUM / WILL ROGERS MUSEUM / PIONEER WOMAN:

We start our day with a visit to the Petroleum Museum where we will learn the story of Frank Phillips and his transformation from a small Bartlesville business to the global energy enterprise it is today! We then visit the “Will Rogers Memorial Museum” in Claremore to see the artifacts, memorabilia, photographs, and manuscripts pertaining to Rogers’ life. This evening we make our way to Pawhuska, Oklahoma, home of the Pioneer Woman, Ree Drummond. While in Pawhuska, we will enjoy the quaint shops and Pioneer Woman Mercantile before treating you to dinner at the Pioneer Woman Mercantile event center.

11 FT. SMITH / US MARSHALL MUSEUM:

We head south this morning making our way to Ft. Smith, Arkansas where we stop at the Fort Smith National Historic Site before heading to the new US Marshall Museum. This 53,000 square foot museum tells the stories of justice, integrity, and service of the Marshalls who have bravely served our nation. Tonight, we will provide dinner for you at Calico County restaurant. We will overnight in Fort Smith.

12 GRACELAND / JACKSON:

We depart our hotel this morning and head East for Memphis where we will treat you to lunch at Vernon’s Smoke House. After lunch you will enjoy the Elvis Experience tour at Graceland before we make our way toward Jackson, Tennessee where we will treat you to dinner at Loretta Lynn’s kitchen before checking into our hotel in the area for the night.

13 SEVERVILLE/WYTHEVILLE:

We depart Jackson this morning making our way to Sevierville, TN where we stop for lunch at The Chop House and enjoy some free time at the World’s Largest Buc-ee’s! This afternoon we continue home and stop for our final night in Wytheville.

14 HOMEWARD BOUND:

To we leave Wytheville with all our memories of South Dakota, the Buffalo and the wild west!
