1 SHENANDOAH VALLEY / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
We leave today and make our way through the Shenandoah Valley and into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where we stay in Wytheville.
2 AMELIA ISLAND
We leave today and travel through the Carolinas and Georgia making our way to Amelia Island. We will be staying in the heart of Amelia Island. Amelia Island is part of the Sea Islands Chain of Barrier Islands on Florida’s Atlantic coast. It has a History of Spanish, French, British and American Rule. It’s known for its numerous sandy beaches and sand dunes. Dinner is included at a local restaurant tonight.
3 AMELIA ISLAND TOUR / MIAMI BEACH
Today we start with an Amelia Island Historic Trolly Tour. You will see Historic downtown Fernandina Beach, Old Towne, the silk stocking district and parts of the North End of Fernandina Beach. Afterwards we head to Miami Beach and check in at our Oceanfront Hotel. Enjoy direct access to the beach and boardwalk, as well as access to the Miami Beach free trolley service, conveniently located near South Beach’s Art Deco District and Lincoln Road’s Outdoor Cafes, shopping and attractions. We will enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening.
4 BISCAYNE BAY / MIAMI
This morning we enjoy a sightseeing cruise of Biscayne Bay where you have the best views to see the Downtown Miami skyline, the Port of Miami, Fisher Island, Miami Beach and Millionaire’s Row – the homes of the rich and famous. Tonight you will enjoy a free evening on your own to enjoy the beach on the second night in Miami.
5 CONCH TRAIN / SUNSET CELEBRATION
We start the morning with a private Key West Tour through the picturesque streets as they reveal the treasures that have and still do make Key West the magical island basking in the Caribbean sun. After we will visit the Historic Truman’s Little White House, in 1946 the historic building first served as the winter White House of President Harry S Truman and a site for the Cold War response by later presidents. Today the Truman Little White House is a public, living museum as well as a retreat and place of government business by our nation’s leaders. This afternoon you are free to enjoy shopping or sightseeing on your own in the historic district. This evening we head to the Sunset Celebration, a nightly arts festival at Mallory Square Dock in Key West. The participants of this event consists of arts and crafts exhibitors, psychics, street performers and food carts. Shop the local artists and get dinner in the open air tonight on your own.
6 KEY WEST
Enjoy a completely free day in the southernmost point in the United States. Famous for lively nightlife, beaches, historic sites and it pastel, conch style architecture. You may choose to visit Ernest Hemingway Home & Museum, Key West Butterfly Conservatory, the Shipwreck Museum, or just spend the day on the beach. Dinner is on your own tonight.
7 WEST PALM BEACH:
We depart key west today and make our way back through the Florida Keys before arriving in West Palm beach where we will spend the night.
8 ST. AUGUSTINE
This morning we will head north to St. Augustine! Today is sure to be filled with the rich history of America’s Oldest City. Stroll along the brick-lined streets and delight in the city’s European flavor. We will spend our final night at a Beachfront property with a outdoor pool with Tiki Bar, and direct beach access in St Augustine Beach. Enjoy dinner at the hotel this evening featuring a delicious buffet.
9 HOMEWARD BOUND
We leave Amelia Island to travel to Wytheille for the night. We will make a stop along the way and pick up some Florida Sunshine to take with us.
10 VIRGINIA
Today we head home with all the memories of Florida’s Northeastern Shore and Amelia Island.
