1 SHENANDOAH VALLEY / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS:
We leave today and make our way through the Shenandoah Valley and into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where we spend the night in Wytheville, Virginia
2 FT. MACON STATE PARK / ATLANTIC BEACH:
We start our journey today traveling through the state of North Carolina making our way to the coastal town of Atlantic Beach. Upon arrival we will visit Fort Macon State Park to experience the extensive exhibits in this restored “pre-Civil War” fort. This evening we treat you to dinner at Prine 1079 before checking into our Oceanfront hotel for the next 3 nights.
3 BEAUFORT / CRYSTAL COAST TOUR:
This morning we make our way to Beaufort, NC where we will enjoy some free time for lunch and shopping. After lunch, we will cruise up Taylor’s Creek -past beautiful waterfront homes and the Rachel Carson Reserve where we may be able to catch a glimpse of the Wild Horses in the area. Don’t forget to check for a glimpse of a Dolphin or two as well! Tonight, we will treat you to dinner at Cox Family Restaurant.
4 CAPE LOOKOUT LIGHTHOUSE / MOREHEAD CITY:
Today we take a ferry to Cape Lookout where we enjoy the majestic Cape Lookout Lighthouse. While on our ferry ride we may catch a glimpse of the Shackleford Banks horses, bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles and more! This afternoon we venture to the historic town of Morehead City, NC for shopping and lunch before making our way back to the hotel. Tonight, we treat you to dinner at Oceanana Pier House Restaurant
5 NC AQUARIUM / WYTHEVILLE:
After departing our hotel, we will visit the North Carolina Aquarium located in Pine Knoll Shores. Here we will enjoy a vast variety of marine life such as fish, crabs, seahorses, lionfish and sharks. They also have a sea turtle nursery as well! This afternoon we depart to Wytheville.
6 HOMEWARD BOUND:
Today we depart for home with all our memories of North Carolina’s Crystal Coast!
