1 WHEELING/MANSION MUSEUM/ FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS
Today we head to Wheeling, WV and arrive at the Oglebay Resort where we will be spending the next two nights. We start with a tour of the Mansion Museum, once home to wealthy industrialist and philanthropist Earl W. Oglebay and family, is lavishly decorated for the holidays. Here you journey into the past entering a virtual treasure house of antiques and history that is dressed in all it holiday regalia. Then do a little Hilltop Shopping at Farmhouse Sweets & Treats. A Dinner Buffet is included tonight before a local guide will join us for a Festival of Lights Tour.
2 WHEELING TOUR/WINTER FANTASY/ HOLIDAY DINNER SHOW:
This morning we meet with a local guide and Tour the City of Wheeling, WV. Including beautiful Victorian Homes, The Capitol Music Hall, Independence Hall and more. Afterward, we visit the Carriage House Glass Museum, with over three thousand examples of Wheeling glass. Next, we go to the Winter Fantasy at the Good Zoo. This includes an exciting LED Light show choreographed to beloved holiday music. Following lunch on your own, we will visit the Christmas Shop, Experience this Christmas wonderland featuring gold, silver, and glam holiday décor that will have you decking the halls in style. Tonight we enjoy the Festival of Lights Dinner Show held in Wilson Lodge.
3 HOMEWARD BOUND
After our hotel breakfast, we depart for home with many cheerful memories of Wheeling and the Oglebay Lights.
