1 SHENANDOAH VALLEY / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
We leave today and make our way through the Shenandoah Valley and into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where we stay in Wytheville.
2 MEMPHIS
Our adventure begins as we travel South West through Virginia and into Tennessee making our way to Memphis for the night. Before checking into our hotel, we will give you some free time on famous Beale Street for Dinner. We will spend the night in the Memphis area.
3 LITTLE ROCK / TULSA
This morning we cross the Mighty Mississippi and continue West traveling into Arkansas. Along the way we will stop in Little Rock, Arkansas to view their beautiful Capitol building and enjoy lunch and shopping in the area. After lunch we continue west into Oklahoma where we will check into our Tulsa area hotel for the next two nights.
4 PAWHUSKA / PIONEER WOMAN
Today will be filled with much excitement as we visit Pawhuska, Oklahoma – home of the Pioneer Woman! A local guide will join us this morning for a tour of the area. The tour will take you back in time to the 1920’s oil boom with stories of riches, historical buildings, famous cowboys and native Osage culture. This afternoon we will visit the Pioneer Woman Mercantile, owned by Food Network Star Ree Drummond. The Mercantile began in 1910 as Osage Mercantile and was a place for trading goods and browsing. Ree and family wanted to honor the Merc’s legacy by creating a shopping experience that hints to an earlier time in small town America. This evening we will treat you to a 4-course meal served family-style at the Mercantile.
5 SOUTHFORK RANCH / WACO
We depart Tulsa this morning and head South traveling into the Great State of Texas! After arriving in Texas we will treat you to a Texas sized lunch and tour at Southfork Ranch. Known as America’s most famous Ranch, made famous by the Ewing Family in the television series Dallas! This evening it’s on to Waco where we will spend the next 2 nights. We treat you to dinner tonight at the 1424 Bistro.
6 WACO / MAGNOLIA MARKET
This morning we take you to Magnolia Market and Silos for some time shopping in the Market, games on the lawn and touring the garden. You will also enjoy lunch on your own at the “Siloteria” – a collection on food trucks they have on property. This afternoon a local guide will join us for a tour of Waco before we visit and tour the Dr. Pepper Museum. We will treat you to dinner tonight at a local restaurant before returning to our hotel.
7 MERIDIAN
We depart Waco this morning traveling into Louisiana and passing by West Monroe, home of “Duck Dynasty”. We will stop at the Duck Commander shop for some browsing around before continuing on to Meridian, Mississippi for the night.
8 WYTHEVILLE
Today we make our way to Wytheville traveling through Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.
9 HOME
Today we head for home with our wonderful memories of the Pioneer Woman and Magnolia Market!
