1 WYTHEVILLE

We depart this morning traveling to Wytheville, VA where we will spend the night.

2 CARTER FOLD/BRISTOL

Our journey begins by traveling to Bristol, the birthplace of country music. Once arriving, we will visit the home and birthplace to Bristol Native Tennessee Ernie Ford whose career span was over 50 years and sold over 90 million records worldwide. We then check into our hotel in the Bristol area for the next two nights. Tonight, we will visit the Carter Family Fold where we will enjoy traditional acoustic bluegrass.

3 HEARTWOOD/BIRTHPLACE OF COUNTRY MUSIC

This morning, we start our day with a visit to the Heartwood Craft Center where we will enjoy a gospel brunch. Afterward, we head to The Birthplace of Country Music Museum to learn the stories of Country music heritage. Before leaving the museum, you will be treated to a buffet dinner with live local music.

4 PIGEON FORGE/DOLLYWOOD/COUNTRY TONITE

Today we make our way to Pigeon Forge, TN where we will visit Dollywood! While inside the park, you will have the chance to see the Dolly Museum, take a train ride, visit the American Eagle Habitat, and for the brave, a chance to ride the Wild Eagle Coaster. You can also enjoy watching the Dollywood’s many craftsmen and artisans making their hand – made crafts. Tonight, you will enjoy a show at the Country Tonite Theater where you will see a variety of singing, dancing, side-splitting comedy, gospel, and American Patriotism.

5 PINK JEEP TOURS/CADES COVE/DOLLY PARTONS STAMPEDE

We begin our day with exploring the newly opened section of the Foothills Parkway through Wears Valley, Townsend, and the Great Smoky Mountains National Park with Pink Jeep Tours. You will see scenic overlooks and panoramic photo opportunities and a chance to see the highest mountain in the smokies. After lunch, we will visit Cades Cove. This beautiful 11-mile drive through the Smoky Mountains is framed by picturesque mountain peaks and abundant wildlife. Tonight, you will be treated to Dolly Parton’s Stampede Dinner & Show.

6 NASHVILLE/RYMAN AUDITORIUM/ OLE RED

We depart Pigeon Forge this morning and make our way to Nashville, Music City, U.S.A.! Upon arrival, we will be joined by a local singer / songwriter for a Troubadour Tour of the city. Afterward, we will make our way to the Ryman Auditorium for a guided tour where we will learn all the history of the “Mother Church” of country music. Tonight, we will treat you to dinner at Blake Shelton’s Ole Red before checking into our hotel in Downtown Nashville for the next 3 nights.

7 HALL OF FAME / JOHNNY CASH MUSEUM/NASHVILLE NIGHTLIFE

We start today with a visit to the Country Hall of Fame & Studio B! While visiting the Hall of Fame, you will get to experience their fabulous collection of costumes, memorabilia, instruments, photographs and much more. At RCA Studio B, you will learn the history of over 35,000 legendary songs that have been recorded there on music row. This afternoon, we will visit the Johnny Cash Museum before ending our day at Nashville Nightlife Dinner & Show featuring their “Best of Country” show.

8 COMEDY BUS/GENERAL JACKSON/ GRAND OLE OPRY

Today we start our day off with a great laugh on the Redneck Comedy Bus Tour. We will then head up to the Opryland Complex for a mid-day lunch cruise on the General Jackson Showboat. After lunch, we will visit Madame Tussaud’s Wax Museum where you can take pictures with old and new Country Music celebrities. Dinner will be provided tonight at the Back Stage Grill before making our way to The Grand Ole Opry.

9 MEMPHIS/BLUE CITY CAFÉ

This morning we are Memphis Bound. While in route, we visit the Carnegie Legeands Museum in Jackson, and the Tina Turner Museum. Once arriving in Memphis, we visit the Rock N’ Soul Museum and discover the birth of rock and soul music. Tonight, we will enjoy dinner at the Blues City Café before checking into our hotel in Memphis for the next 2 nights.

10 SUN STUDIOS/STAX MUSEUM/GRACELAND

This morning we will enjoy a guided tour of Memphis before visiting Sun Studios. Our afternoon will be spent visiting the Stax Museum where we will learn the history of Soul Music. We then make our way to Graceland, to visit the historic mansion and learn how Elvis himself got to superstardom. Dinner will be provided at Vernon’s Smokehouse at the Graceland complex.

11 TENNESSEE LEGEND DISTILLERY/ KNOXVILLE

We begin our day traveling to Cookeville, TN where we visit the Tennessee Legend Distillery and try their awardwinning Salted Caramel Whiskey. After lunch we continue east to Knoxville where we will spend the night.

12 WYTHEVILLE

Before leaving Knoxville, we will make a stop at the World’s Fair Park, the site of the 1982’s World’s Fair. You will see spectacular views from the fourth floor of the Observation deck of Knoxville and The Great Smoky Mountains. After lunch, we will continue our journey home through Tennessee and back into Virginia where we will spend the night in Wytheville.

13 HOMEWARD BOUND

Before leaving Knoxville, we will make a stop at the World’s Fair Park, the site of the 1982’s World’s Fair. You will see spectacular views from the fourth floor of the Observation deck of Knoxville and The Great Smoky Mountains. After lunch, we will continue our journey home through Tennessee and back into Virginia with great memories of the Hills of Tennessee.
