1 SHENANDOAH VALLEY / BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
We leave today and make our way through the Shenandoah Valley and into the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia where we spend the night in Wytheville.
2 SOUTHWARD BOUND /MEMPHIS
Our journey begins as we make our way South to spend the night in Meridian MS
3 HOUSTON
Today we will enjoy Texas Charm as we drive through the Piney Woods region heading south to the Gulf Coast where we will spend the night in the Bayou city of Houston.
4 KING RANCH / CORPUS CHRISTI
Our day begins as we explore the massive 852,000 acre King Ranch. While on our guided tour of the ranch we will view the wildlife, auction arena, Mr. King’s Carriage House and much more. This evening’s dinner is provided at The King Ranch Cowboy Camphouse BBQ. Tonight we will stay in Corpus Christi, Texas.
5 ALAMO
Today we honor the fallen Heroes of the Alamo and celebrate the Victory and the Battle of San Jacinto. This afternoon we will attend the Battle of Flowers parade at the Texas Fiesta in San Antonio. The evening will be yours to enjoy this beautiful river city. We spend the next two nights in San Antonio, TX.
6 SAN ANTONIO
Today we will enjoy more festivities in this romantic city along the San Antonio River. We will spend another night in San Antonio.
7 AUSTIN
This morning we journey through hill country to the metropolis capital city of Austin. A local guide will show us around this Texas sized city. We will overnight in the Austin area.
8 WACO / FORT WORTH
Today we head to the Prairie Lakes region to visit the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco, Texas. This afternoon we will step back into the wild-west as we make our way to the Fort Worth Stockyards National Historic District. While in Fort Worth you will have the opportunity to watch real live cowboys drive the Texas Longhorns through town. We spend the night in Fort Worth.
9 DALLAS
It’s off to the Big “D” today where we will visit Pioneer Plaza, John F. Kennedy Memorial and Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza. We will overnight in Dallas.
10 ROSE GARDEN / MEMPHIS
Today we make a stop Texas Rose Garden in Tyler. We will then leave the Lone Star state behind and head back to Memphis where we will spend the night.
11 WYTHEVILLE
Today as we make our way through Tennessee and Virginia to spend the night in Wytheville.
12 HOMEWARD BOUND
We finish our journey home today with wonderful memories of the Lone Star State.
